Our name, the Beauty of One, originally began as a tribute to the beauty of oneness in marriage and how we believe that when a man and woman function in unity they are together the most complete representation of the image of God. This seemed fitting as we planned to create art as a team effort, and the first drafts of our logo were made up of a seal that represented us.
Over the years, however, we realized that our true goal was simply to glorify God in our art, and that didn’t need to be limited to us. As such, it was obvious the the real ONE in our name is God, and the reality is that there exists no beauty without him. Everything beautiful is merely a reflection of him.
Our logo is is based partly on an early Trinitarian design whose three equal arcs represent equality, the continuous line expresses eternity, and the interweaving represents indivisibility. It may have originally been based on the sign of the fish which was used by early Christians. As you can see, a heart is also built into the symbol, which represents God’s love for us, our love for him, and our desire to have him as our central focus.
